Her days have started to look mostly the same. She's still on the morning shift at the diner (which is fine, she likes being home with Neal in the evening), but she doesn't even really need to set an alarm anymore. It never fails, 6am rolls around and she's running for the bathroom. It doesn't matter what she ate the night before; every morning, like clockwork, she's making friends with the toilet.

She's so tired all the time too, and she can't even have coffee to wake up. Her one consolation right now is that she can eat whatever she wants.

The first thing she does when she gets home after work is go to take a shower. There are so many food smells clinging to her clothes, and to her skin, and she needs to be rid of them. She puts on something more comfortable – stretchy pants and one of Neal's t-shirts – and plops on the couch to wait for him to get home. Her belly is starting to grow larger and she's going to need to go shopping for some maternity clothes soon. How are they going to afford that?

She closes her eyes while waiting for him to get home. She's not even halfway through yet. It's going to be a long six more months.

"You worked all morning." She reaches over to fuss with his hair. "I bet you could use some relaxing."

Neal cracked a smile as he looked over at her. "Oh? What do you have in mind?" He didn't let Emma pamper him often. He liked to be the one to take care of her but with her pregnancy, he more or less let her do what she wanted.

"I thought maybe we could do whatever you want, since you're the one who needs to relax." She's spent the morning doing what she wanted, now it's his turn.

Neal laughed softly as he settled next to her. He stretched out, allowing his muscles to relax while draping his arm over Emma's shoulders.

"Might seem boring but I'm happy just like this."

"Good. That's exactly my kind of afternoon." She leans her head on his shoulder, but then a moment later she's up, off the couch, and dashing into the bathroom.

"Emma?"

Neal rose and followed after her. He stopped just outside of the bathroom, giving her privacy if she wants it. "You okay?"

"Yeah." There's the sound of a toilet flushing and she comes back out of the room. "Looks like red meat is out too."

"I'll get you a glass of water." He flashed her a smile before disappearing into the kitchen. When he returned he put lunch away so she didn't have to smell the food.

"Can I get you anything else?"

"No, I'm fine now, thank you." She finishes the water and goes back to sit down on the couch again. "Let's see if there's something boring to watch."

Neal smiled and took a seat next to her. "Sounds like a plan." He looked over at her and with the sudden need to do something, spoke again.

"Want me to rub your feet?"

"Yeah, sure." She stretches out on the couch so that she can rest her feet in his lap. "That'd be nice."

Neal got in position at the end of the couch and lightly grabbed Emma's feet. He began kneading softly, in small circles, in the arch of her foot. He slowly moved over her whole soul and then pulled at each toe.

"Let me know if I miss a spot."

"Okay." She might not be able to though. She sounds like she's about to fall asleep, even though she's had a pretty relaxing, lazy morning already.

Neal smiled when it seemed like she was getting tired. He continued to massage her feet, rolling her toes between his fingers and then moving his way over the bridge and heel of her foot. This was something that he hasn't had a lot of practice with but after learning that Emma was pregnet he'd learned. He read somewhere that rubbing someone's feet can help their whole body relax.

She's just going to nap now, right there on the couch. Sorry, Neal. Hopefully you weren't expecting too much from her today.

Neal smiled and kept rubbing her feet. When he was sure that she was asleep he curled up with her and fell asleep holding her. He didn't care what they did as long as they were together. It felt nice and he didn't' want to let her go.
